What If You Need to Reschedule Your Newborn Shoot?

Life Happens—We’re Prepared for It
Welcoming a baby is a beautifully unpredictable experience, and we completely understand that plans may need to shift. That’s why we’ve built a flexible system that allows for some movement—without adding stress to your experience.
As a team, we have the ability to adjust schedules more easily than solo photographers, meaning that if you need to move your session within reason, we can accommodate you.
At the same time, we plan carefully to ensure every family gets their special moment, so we appreciate as much notice as possible when changes are needed.
When Might a Reschedule Be Necessary?
We don’t expect everything to go perfectly to plan, and we allow for some flexibility when:
Your baby arrives earlier or later than expected – If your due date shifts, we’ll adjust accordingly.
You or your baby are unwell – We want everyone to be comfortable and relaxed during the session.
Genuine unforeseen circumstances – We understand that sometimes life throws a curveball, and we’ll work with you to find a solution.

How Rescheduling Works (And Why It’s Easy With Us)
Because we work as a team and cover a wide area, we have a system in place that allows for movement while still ensuring all sessions are delivered on time. Here’s what you need to know:
Pre-Booked Clients Have Priority
If you’ve booked as part of our Maternity & Baby Package, or have pre-booked a newborn shoot before baby is born, your session is already planned with flexibility in mind. This means if adjustments are needed, you’ll be prioritised when finding a new date.We Expect Some Movement—But Communication Is Key
We know newborn arrivals aren’t always predictable, so we allow for some shifts in our schedule. That said, the more notice we have, the easier it is to find a new date that works for everyone.We’ll Find a New Date That Works
If a change is needed, we’ll offer the best available options within our schedule. Our team-based approach allows us to be more adaptable than many solo photographers, so you won’t have to worry about missing out.Newborn-Style Photos Are Still Possible Later
If your session ends up being slightly later than planned, that’s okay! While we aim to photograph newborns in the first few weeks, we can still capture those tender, sleepy moments a little later with small adjustments in styling and posing.
